Meet Your Guide
I am a guide for profound transformation, working at the intersection of psychedelic integration, trauma-informed somatic practice, and spiritual storytelling. My path is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their own "black swan" journeys—those unexpected events that change everything—and discover the healing and meaning within them.
My roots are in the heart of the Columbia River Basin, in the mountain valley known as Invermere, on the traditional and unceded territories of the Secwépemc and Ktunaxa Peoples. This land shaped my spirit. I now live and practice in Medicine Hat, along the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Stoney Nakoda, and the Métis Nation (Region 3). I acknowledge with gratitude the caretakers of these lands, past and present.
My own journey led from an early Christian upbringing through doubt, and into a deep reconnection guided by plant medicine, shamanic practice, and a return to my own ancient ancestral wisdom from Mongolia, Bavaria Germany, Celtic Ireland, and Norweigan Traditions, just to name a few.
My work is now a practice of colonial deconstruction and heartfelt reconciliation. I bridge sacred, nature-based traditions with the ethics and understandings of modern psychology, honoring both lineages while creating a compassionate, non-judgmental container for your unique path.
My guidance is inspired by ongoing spirit walking journeys. I am guided by the Snowy Owl, who teaches clarity in the dark and the courage to navigate between worlds; the Black Swan, my namesake and ally in embracing deep transformation and the beauty of the unknown; and even the Four-Spotted Ladybug from my childhood, a gentle reminder of luck, protection, and the magic in small, grounded things.
I channel these relationships and insights into my Substack, The Girl and The Black Swan. There, I publish Field Notes, Letters, and Personal Stories from a shamanic perspective—a living dialogue between my ancestral DNA and these spirit guides, exploring how ancient wisdom can heal and inform our modern lives and be infused into our businesses, marketing and personal art.
Thank you for visiting. Whether through one-on-one guidance or shared stories, I am here to offer a safe and ethical space for your exploration. Please feel free to reach out for a conversation about how we might walk this path of remembrance and reconciliation together.
